Amateur Television
Amateur Television is very popular in many parts of the country and overseas as well. In Southern California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Indiana amateur television thrives through the Amateur Television Network (ATN) which includes numerous linked repeaters throughout the region. These repeaters, which are identified below, make it possible for Amateur Radio Operators (aka "hams") who have amateur television equipment to make contacts with each other from rather remote locations. Contacts spanning several hundred miles occur regularly
